Dr Zaccone, Rocco

Dr. Zaccone specializes in the use of the operating microscope in all branches of dentistry and in the minimally invasive treatment of periodontitis. He has also extensive training in the continuous use of lasers in dentistry.

He has been a member of the Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE) since 2015, where he is an Active Member and serves on the Cultural and Editorial Committee.

For more than 10 years, he worked as a teaching tutor at the dental clinic of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital in the Endodontics Department (headed by Prof. Luca Marigo). Since the academic year 2020, he has been a lecturer in the Master’s Program in Endodontics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome).

From 2018 to 2020, he was a lecturer in endodontics and restorative dentistry in the ASO course in Rome, directed by Igea Media.

Today, Dr. Zaccone is a speaker at national and international courses and conferences.

He is co-founder of the Riitano Study Group and is constantly involved in endodontic education, organizing courses and congresses for both young professionals and experienced clinicians at national and international level.

This group has received numerous awards from various dental scientific societies.

He is a key opinion leader for major companies in the dental sector (Dentsply Sirona, VDW, and Septodont) and is committed to improving clinical techniques through the use of advanced instrumentation.

In 2017, he won the Lucia Mareschi Award for the best clinical case in endodontics at national level during the 25th AIE Congress.
