Prof. Dr. Fouad Khoury

Prof. Dr. Fouad Khoury is full professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Münster, Germany. He is also Director of the Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein in Olsberg.

Born in Lebanon, he obtained his dental degree (DMD) from St. Joseph University in Beirut. He specialized in Oral Surgery in Germany (among others at universities in Freiburg and Münster).

Prof. Khoury is internationally recognized for his work in bone augmentation and regenerative implantology. He developed techniques such as the “Carrot Technique” (also “Carotta Technique”) and the “Shell (Bone Block) Technique”.
