Dr. Villa, Gabriele

Dr. Gabriele Villa graduated from the University of Milan in 2010 and subsequently completed a three-year advanced training program in Oral Surgery at the Istituto Stomatologico Italiano in Milan.

From 2015 to 2018, he attended the Postgraduate Program “Current Concepts in American Dentistry: Advances in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation” at New York University College of Dentistry.

His postgraduate education includes a Master’s Program in Implantology with Dr. Tiziano Testori. He further developed his expertise in soft-tissue management through advanced training with Prof. Markus Hürzeler, Dr. Otto Zuhr, and Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli.

He subsequently focused his training on advanced regenerative surgery, attending advanced surgical courses with Prof. Fouad Khoury and Dr. Luca De Stavola. He also completed the Regenerator Master Program with Prof. Istvan Urban, in collaboration with the University of Szeged.

Dr. Villa is also an active member of the X-Guide Academy, with a particular focus on dynamic navigated implant surgery and its application in advanced surgical procedures.

He currently tutoring in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Milan, under the direction of Prof. Massimo Simion and Prof. Giulio Rasperini.

Dr. Villa has authored and co-authored international scientific publications in implant dentistry and bone regeneration, including a publication in The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry on the use of a xenogeneic cortical bone lamina for horizontal ridge augmentation.

In 2026, he was invited as a speaker at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he presented the use of the cortical bone lamina technique for the management of challenging horizontal and vertical ridge defects.

He maintains a private practice at Clinica Odontoiatrica Villa in Biella, Italy.
